Miscellany Mart came to life through a whole lot of self-reflection—moments in therapy, the gym, the kitchen, and countless attempts to get out of my own way. Turns out, most of the limitations we face are SELF-imposed. Who knew?!

The thing that helped me most was being brave enough to say the hard things out loud—to friends, my therapist (obviously), my trainer (unofficial therapist 🫶), even random strangers who made eye contact for too long. The more I opened up, the more power I had over my life, my feelings, and my perspective.

I kept looking for the right way to share what I was learning—trying projects, testing ideas, and waiting for that elusive this-is-it moment. Then I started making greeting cards. Suddenly, it all came together. They weren’t just paper—they were tiny messengers for all the real, awkward, and oddly funny parts of being human.

I hope Miscellany Mart feels like a place that embraces the weirdness of being human—where it's ok to say what's on your mind, even when you don’t quite know how to say it. Because real connection isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up.
